Living in the Aftermath 10:00, 2001 (Ref: NA01202)

Description

The week after 9/11 we had a freelance photo-journalist observing New Yorkers in the wake of the attack as they headed back to their offices in their forever-altered city. A moving and revealing account of moving on after a national tragedy. We see how high finance and soldiers are working side-by-side in the world’s most aggressively capitalist city. We filmed inside a finance brokerage office that is operating reasonably normally, but with the brokers seemingly spending a lot of time telling stories of what they saw on September 11th or of their lucky escape. We visit shop-keepers who are returning to their shops which have been looted and film and man who travelled from Atlanta to see the devastation and to collect mementoes.
