Paul Moller, the brains behind the Moller Skycar, has led a roller-coaster development and marketing campaign while attempting to bring his life’s work to fruition. Moller’s ideas and concepts behind a personal vehicle capable of vertical takeoff and landing were quite ahead of its time. Moller says his fully automated Skycar will do the driving for you and without distractions like traffic, stop signs and pedestrians. It will be a safer way to travel. Moller made millions selling mufflers, but he has spent most of it trying to become the Henry Ford of flying cars.
