Laos Time Bomb 18:00, 2001 (Ref: AS01126)

Description

It’s the most bombed country in history and more people are being killed or maimed now by bombs than when the bombs were dropped.

More bombs were dropped by the U.S. on Laos in the Vietnam War than fell on all of Europe during World War Two.

This film tells the story of how the people of Laos have had to cope with millions of unexploded bombs and how people are still being maimed and killed by UXB’s.

The film includes an interview with Henry Kissinger – the U.S. foreign secretary during the Vietnam War.
