Albania is one of the most dangerous and poorest countries in Europe. This film shows how in many areas it’s run by gun-totting mafia gangs. In this character-driven documentary we explore the “new” Albania where gang leaders ride around in the latest of the range Mercedes, the police have to be paid bribes to get a living wage and law-abiding citizens are left desperately poor and often live in fear for their lives.
