How is it that the same mega-storm can take so many lives in one country, while people across the border survive the chaos and devastation? And as the frequency and intensity of hurricanes, typhoons and hugely destructive storms seems to be increasing, what can we all learn from Cuba? We went there after one of the worst storms in many years had caused massive destruction to see what they are doing to help avert such destruction in the future. We found some interesting solutions were being tested.
