Description

This film, Liberia’s savage war, is about a brutal war hidden from the eyes of the world. It is a story about arms sanctions that don’t work and about torture and summary justice.

It is a documentary that focuses on a man called Deku, a thirty year-old “General” fighting for a cause that will take his life and the lives of many of his men.

The film was made by an independent cameraman who travelled with the Liberian rebels, some of them from Sierra Leone, coming under fire on many occasions and witnessing and filming executions and cannibalism.

An extremely powerful film about Africa’s most brutal war.
