Boeing: How Safe is Your Plane? 9 minutes, 2006 (Ref: 506) |

At least 1,600
commercial passenger jets are flying across the
world with bogus and highly dangerous parts. The
aircrafts' manufacturer, Boeing Airplanes, has known
for more than ten years that their safety was
compromised - and has actively attempted to cover up
the defects. This exclusive investigation - backed
by newly unsealed court records - reveals how Boeing
knowingly bought thousands of sub-standard
'safety-critical' parts from a subcontractor - and
demoted and sacked its own internal quality
"auditors" when they highlighted the problem.
Documents made public in a whistleblower lawsuit
filed against The Boeing Company show that thousands
of unsafe and unapproved parts have been installed
on jets the company produced between 1994 and
2001-and perhaps longer. |
