After enduring a harsh Himalayan winter in temporary shelters, survivors
of the Kashmir earthquake are finally returning home. The quake struck
north of Muzaffarabad in the Pakistan-administered disputed region of
Kashmir in October last year. More than 73,000 people were killed, three
million were left homeless. Many were given shelter in Islamabad. Now
survivors are being encouraged by the Pakistani government to return to
their villages. We follow Yunis Mohammed and his family on their emotional
journey home to Panjkot.
