An amazing film
showing a shoot-out between drug smugglers and
Iranian border guards and a visit to a heroin
refinery. The war on terror was supposed to have
brought an end to it but Afghanistan is still the
worlds number one producer of heroin. Almost ninety
percent of the the worlds heroin comes from
Afghanistan, with much of it finding its way onto
the streets of Europe and the USA. The UK has the
lead role in the war on Afghan drugs but has been
criticised by America for not doing enough.
Thousands of British troops are about to police the
region. |
