A brilliant story about a “lifer” who tranformed himself from murderer to prison lawyer, even doing cases for fellow prisoners and has never lost one yet. Now that he’s out of prison he’s trying to win the right to vote for prisoners. He is remorseful for the axing to death of his landlady 25 years ago, but the victims’ daughter is far from impressed. He's take on some of the UK Government's best lawyers at the European Court of Human Rights to have centuries of penal law overturned.
