This is a dark and brilliant film about the AIDS epidemic in Russia. Worldwide an estimated 42 million people are living with HIV, most of them on the African continent. However, with Russia and the Republics of the former Soviet Union, the virus has opened a new front in its deadly campaign. Russia has now the fastest growth rate of HIV infection in the world. Today, more than 1 million people within its borders live with the virus, and if the increase continues at this rate the figure could rise to 12 million by 2020.
