USA: Rigging the Vote (barring black voters from voting in Florida) 11 minutes, 2004 Ref: 407
We have conducted a special investigation in which we’ve found that once again tens of thousands of black voters have been wrongly excluded from voting in this year's US presidential elections by a Florida law that bars convicted felons from voting - unless they’ve been pardoned by the state governor. Such a situation happened at the last presidential election. President Bush won that closely fought election in controversial circumstances in Florida where his brother, Jeb, is the governor. The main reason for the controversy about the disenfranchising of black voters is that most blacks would have voted for the Democrats.
