The economic consequences of the SARS virus are claiming many victims. In China – and especially Hong Kong – it’s viewed as being worse than after 9/11. Many companies have had to lay off workers, or at least ask employees to take unpaid leave. We travelled to China and Hong Kong to see the effects of the economic meltdown.
