Ireland has built Europe’s biggest ever Supertrawler. It’s able to catch 400 tons of fish a day, in seas where stocks are already seriously depleted. Europe’s fishing fleet needs to be cut dramatically, by as many as 8,500 vessels to save its fish. So how come the Irish were allowed to build Europe’s biggest ever Supertrawler?
