More than a thousand Americans have been detained since September the eleventh - many kept in secret without evidence or without trial. So far only one person has been charged with any involvement with the events of September 11th. The White House says its priority is to prevent any more terrorist attacks. A new Justice Department order could prevent states from getting any information on who is being held.
