Mozambique: Fleeing White Farmers 6 minutes, 2002 Ref: 244
In a few days time Zimbabwe goes to the polls to elect a new president. Robert Mugabe has tried to gain popularity by singling out the country's several thousand white farmers who own the best farmland. Many farms have been over-run by violent mobs. Farmers and labourers have been killed while the police look on. Some farmers have had enough and have fled to neighbouring Mozambique, which has offered them shelter. We met some of those farmers in Manica province in Mozambique which touches the border with Zimbabwe.
