Kosovo's Forgotten Victims

Kosovo's Forgotten Victims
21 minutes, 20xx
Ref: 227

Many stay locked in their homes for fear of being killed. Those who venture out are often murdered. These are the gypsies of Kosovo - the forgotten victims of the wars in the Balkans. As Albanian refugees flooded back to a liberated Kosovo, the province's Roma and Ashkali minorities were being forced out. Ignored by the United Nations and living in fear of their neighbours, many quit Kosovo altogether, ending up in refugee camps throughout the region. A sad story of the forgotten victims of a war that did not include them.
