Albania: A Crime Culture 28 minutes, 1998 Ref: 150
Violence has once again flared up in Albania. Recently the Prime Minister was forced to flee as thousands of rioters set fire to his offices. Albania is probably the most dangerous and corrupt place in Europe. Blood feuds are common and contract killings happen every day. There are very few honest jobs. Girls are bought and sold to foreigners and the police survive on bribes. This film tells the story of one man and his family and friends and their battle with crime. We see them trying to lead a normal life which is constantly being hindered by black marketers and corrupt police.
