Until recently women of the mafia were always seen as innocent - their role was to stand by their men and suffer in silence. But, as the mafia bosses are being jailed and killed by rivals, their women are taking over. The latest godmother to step onto the scene is Maria Lucciardi and she's proving to be the most successful ever. Through murder and brutal intimidation she's ended up controlling most of Italy's crime capital - Naples. And the police seem powerless to stop Lucciardi - they've only seen her once in eight years.
