A British family doctor has become Britain's biggest mass murderer. Dr Harold Shipman, now known as Doctor Death, was convicted this month of murdering 15 women, but police say he may have murdered as many as 100 elderly women - making him one of the world's worst mass murderers. They were poisoned by high doses of the painkiller diamorphine, given by injection. He also robbed many of them of their money. Dr Shipman worked in Hyde in England for several years before he was caught. We look at Dr Shipman's background and how he carried out his murders.
