In Guatemala and Mexico, their transit points, they're hunted down by the police and gangs of thieves. But with only misery behind them, they take their chances, knowing that for every three refugees that set out, one is likely to make it to the U.S. We follow one man, who lost his entire family to Hurricane Mitch, on his desperate journey.
